Job Creation – what I see
The government promises jobs each year – they lie to the people. i) Firstly because governments can’t create jobs and (ii) their jobs are another burden on the tax payers (these jobs are not profit making centres)
Governments lie about the numbers, most years as a country we had more job loses than jobs created
Most large corps are not creating jobs, they are cutting back mainly because of technology – but they are also not able to justify the extra salaries – because of economy down turn.
We are all still stuck in the industrial mindset of jobs – but they are obsolete
Job creation needs to happen at the individual level, small business start-ups and entrepreneurship levels.
